Ultimate Tiny Tower Money Trick

Hi Folks, this is a cool little trick i found for the game "Tiny Tower"

THIS IS HOW I DID IT, I AM NO WAY RESPONSABLE IT YOU SCREW UP YOUR PHONE

I think "pay real money for fake money" terrible business model, you are paying a company to change a value in a .plist file...so why not change it yourself?

Well after searching I found the files on the iphone that stores this information, however, every-time i changed the values, I ran the game and they would change back!!!! Yikes, they caught me....but i found a work around, a way to EARN 1,000,000 Tower Bucks in a few minutes....just finish the survey to find out how!!!

KIDDING!!!!!!!!! I'll show you how to do it

What you Need:

1. Jail Broken iPhone
2. Tiny Tower (I have the newest version)
3. iFile (get it in Cydia...free trial, if you like it support the dev and pay for it!!!)

There are other ways to do this: but this worked for me best.


1. Start a new tiny tower game, do the tutorial over and over until you get the Diner (where you can make the "cup of joe" Once you have the dinner, stop playing, don't stock it, don't do anything. QUIT tiny tower (end the process with SBSettings, or double click the home button to get the shortcut menu, hold down on tiny tower until you get the minus sign, click it to CLOSE tiny tower)

2. Open up ifile, navigate to /var/mobile/Applications/YOURTINYTOWERDIRECTORY/
for me it was 38434E13... i don't know how these folders are named, if you want to guess and check, you are looking for a folder with a file called "Tiny Tower.app" in it.

3. once you find this folder, there are some files in there, and a folder called Documents, open the documents folder.

4. In this folder there are 2 files, open the one called missions in the text viewer

5. click edit on the top of text viewer

OK now the fun part, what we are going to do is modify a mission to be super easy and give you a ton of money...don't get greedy though, if you put to much money the game reverts it back to 0, for me I did 100,000,000 and that worked.

So you will see a mission on the top scroll in it untill you see <key>products</key> below it there will <string>[SOME NUMBERS]</string> delete the numbers that are there and replace it with "10:0:1" without quotes , what this does is set the quest to need you to make 1 cup of coffee to beat it (cup of coffee is 10:0 and then the 1 at the end is how many you need to make) I think you see were I'm going with this

now below it you will see <key>reward</key> then another <string>[a number]</string> change that number to how much money you want to make (i did 100000000) NO COMMAS

6. save the file (click done in the upper right corner)

7. Open tiny tower, goto menu--->missions your new 1 cup of joe 100,000,000 mission should be the first choice, if it's not, you messed up on step one, restart your phone and open tiny tower again, it should work now.

8. Accept the mission, goto your diner and restock your coffee

9. profit

Hope this helps people who think this game is fun, I don't, i just did this to prove to my friend i could build a 132 story building in a day, oh boy did he get mad~!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
